Air Conditioning is a device that creates and maintains the consistent condition of the air in a room. The spectrum ranges from ‘cool only’ to the complex regulation of temperature, humidity and air quality. There are then further differentations between central and peripheral air conditioning units, air/water units and air-only-units.

Air conditioning units create a comfortable climate for people and for animals. The ideal air condition in a room for people is a temperature of approx. 22°C and approx. 50 % relative humidity. Conditions can be adjusted as necessary in rooms containing engines or computers.
